Alexander Gustafsson Set To Compete In December

Alexander Gustafsson last competed inside the cage earlier this year, when he lost to light heavyweight title contender Anthony Smith. After losing two consecutive fights, first to Jon Jones for the title, and then to “Lionheart”, Gustafsson announced his retirement from the sport. While there have been reports about the fighter contemplating a return, there has been no concrete news about him coming back to the UFC.

However, Swedish website kimura.se has now revealed that “The Mauler” will be back in action this December. However, this will not be in a mixed martial arts contest. Instead, Alex will be coming back for a No-Gi superfight with an undefeated prospect.

Alexander Gustafsson, according to many had won his first fight with Jon Jones many years ago, but the decision went in Jon’s favour.
