UFC 250: Nunes vs Spencer Results
UFC 250 goes down on Saturday night at the UFC APEX in Las Vegas. UFC 250 was originally scheduled for May 9th in Sao Paulo, Brazil, but because of the coronavirus pandemic, it now takes place this weekend behind closed doors. In the main event, Brazil’s two division champion Amanda Nunes, is set to defend her featherweight title for the first time, against Felicia Spencer.
Nunes is coming off a successful bantamweight title defence against Germaine de Randamie at UFC 245. While Spencer is coming off a first round TKO win over Zarah Fairn Dos Santos earlier this year at UFC Norfolk. Prior to that, the 29 year old Canadian lost a close unanimous decision to the woman ‘The Lioness’ defeated to win the 145lbs title, Cris Cyborg.
In the UFC 250 co-main event, former bantamweight champion Cody Garbrandt will look to bounce back from three straight losses, when he takes on Raphael Assuncao, who is himself coming off back-to-back losses. Elsewhere on the UFC 250 card, there’s more exciting bantamweight clashes. Aljamain Sterling and Cory Sandhagen will battle it out for the number one contender spot. While Sean O’Malley takes on 135lbs veteran, Eddie Wineland.
